Finding what's left over

It starts with a simple shape and then I put on some background noise and I fill it in and when the nib of my pencil glides through the already laid pastel groove, I literally salivate.  Today I've been working with left overs, scraps, layers from times passed and times past. Learning to use pencil again and learning to trust that its mark will bring happiness and a little meaning and that little will lead to more and a little more and a little more. It's slowly seeping in and I'm trying my best to soak it up ...
